Location: On the southern wall in the niche of the southeast pier in the southern gallery, to the right of door No. 50.

Material: Marble surface, 6th century.

Dimensions: Height 6 cm, length 18 cm, at 130 cm from the floor level.

Condition: Shallow, clearly carved, not intersected by others.

Technique: Incised.

Description: A sailing vessel viewed from its starboard side. It features an elongated hull, low amidships, with a slightly raised bow, tapered into a beakhead and projecting forward. The stern is also pointed and raised. Aft of the stern rises a rectangular superstructure with a tall, sharply rising, pyramidal aftertop, extending astern, beyond the stern proper. The ship is depicted without masts or steering gear.

Type: B/Ic.
